Biography
Dr. Chih-Feng Li is a Professor at Soochow University School of Law (SCU Law). Before joining SCU Law, he served as an Associate Professor at Fu Jen Catholic University School of Law. As a research-oriented educator, he taught courses such as Insurance Law, Maritime Law and Sports Law. He currently also serves as the director of Center for Financial and Economic Laws at SCU Law. Chih-Feng founded the first Center for Sports and Entertainment Law (CSEL) in Taiwan’s University five years ago and served as founding director. CSEL at SCU Law is currently the only leading institution dedicated to the study of sports and entertainment law in Taiwan.
In addition to academic posts, Chih-Feng is now an independent director at a listing company in Taiwan. He is the executive editor of Soochow Law Reviews and an editorial board member of Chung-Hsing University Law Review, both are leading law Journals in Taiwan. He also served as ombudsman at Financial Ombudsman Institution, which is a dedicated agency for resolving financial disputes authorized by the Financial Consumer Protection Law for more than 8 years.
Chih-Feng has published more than 50 articles in law journals such as NTU Law Journal, NCCU Law Review, Taipei University Law Review and Soochow Law Review. His works focus mainly on insurance law, maritime law and sports law.
Before joining the faculty, Chih-feng worked as an associate at a maritime law firm and was counsel at insurance companies.
